The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is required by most business schools. If you want to get accepted to a competitive school, your GMAT score is very important. However, GMAT scores vary in importance at different schools. It consists of a 30-minute Analytic section with one essay, a 30-minute Integrated Reasoning section, a 75-minute Quantitative section and a 75- minute Verbal section. Scores are also valid for five years, so even if you don’t know your direction now, you have time to explore and decide. The GMAT is offered most weekends and weekdays, year-round.
